Born and bred in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Kat attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara before moving between Orange County and the Silverlake hills. Her experience living and roadtripping around the coast has produced spontaneous, hair-in-your-face images filled with sunburns, palm trees and food   trucks —also, the laid-back energy and magic natural light will make you want to turn on your away message and finally take those vacation days. When she's not working, she's probably knitting or buying another plant for her bungalow in Atwater Village, where she resides with her husband Evan and black cat Jiji.
